Speech Pathologist Learns New Ways to Teach Nonverbal Children

A speech-language pathologist from Taiwan recommends the Walkie Talkie Speech Therapy course, "How to Teach a Toddler to Talk" to parents and other speech therapists.

The Challenge:

As a new speech pathologist, teaching nonverbal kids how to speak for the first time can be tricky. Teaching and explaining this process to the parents of the child can be even trickier.

Walkie Talkie Speech Therapy made this process easier for one SLP in Taiwan, with the course, How to Teach a Toddler to Talk.

"I think it’s always beneficial for me to learn more about how a more experienced speech pathologist tackles this issue."

Adrianna enrolled in Kayla’s course for parents.

Solution:

The course covers a whole series of therapeutic techniques and shares the toys, songs, activities, and more that Kayla Chalko, course creator and Speech-Language Pathologist, recommends using for kids. Demonstration clips are provided so that parents and speech pathologists can see the techniques and learning tools in action. This way, if a step is missed in a technique, it’s easy to refer back to.

Most of all, How to Teach a Toddler to Talk provides inspiration for other speech pathologists and parents watching, who want nothing but the best for their child.

Outcome:

Thanks to Walkie Talkie Speech Therapy, this SLP and many more now have the knowledge and confidence of a seasoned speech pathologist. And parents can rest assured that their child is left in the right hands.
